How to change image menus on Joomla!

If you're a customer of mine and you've got a collection of images that are links then it's likely this is an image menu and the following help document is what you'll need to know to keep that list updated.

> Firstly you'll need to take screenshots of the movies and make them the same size as the images that you have in your current image menu.  In this case they are 150 pixels wide.  However you can find out by right clicking and going to 'properties'

> Once you've got your new menu images then upload them into the public_html/images/stories folder using a ftp client.

> The goto your website admin area and roll over the 'Menu' button on the top menu and scroll down and click on the Menu you want to change.  in this case its 'Movies.

> Click on the menu item you want to change

> the next thing is to find the new article that you want to link to using the button here. Using the 'section' and 'catergory' drop downs can really help.

> then change the rest of the details accordingly. ie the title and url title (alias )at the top.  And don't forget 'THE PAGE TITLE'  which you can find as pictured below.

under the 'Parameters(system)' tab.

> also under the 'Parameters(system)' tab you'll need to change the menu image.  And if you've uploaded your pics to the right folder then you should be able to see your image filename on the 'Menu Image' drop down.
